If you would like to heighten your students’ cultural awareness, consider getting involved with Classroom without walls.

This Internet -based collaborative project will allow your students to learn and share information about different cultures.

Take a look at our brand new project: Schools around the world.

We will start a new project on “Schools around the world“. Students through exchanges and discussions will learn about different schools worldwide.

The idea is to create a visual school network in order to sustain an on-going dialogue about how schools differ worldwide.  Students must prepare a voicethread adding all the information they require relevant for other students to know about their school. The rest of the participants can ask questions about their school.

Objectives

By the end of this project student will have: learned about the educational system in several countries learned different cultures worldwide introduced themselves to the participants added themselves to the Schools around the world map gotten familiar with the features of our wiki gotten familiar with voicethread

This project starts in September 2009 and you can join in any time during the year.
